We enjoyed a great long holiday with my parents in Dallas. My brother and his wife, Lisa and kiddos came from Michigan for the week. We enjoyed eating way too much food and sharing laughs! A surprise snowstorm made for a beautiful, white Christmas Eve. The boys sure enjoyed some time in the white stuff even on the big wheels! Annie took our families pictures on Saturday, she did a fabulaous job. You can check them out at Grapevine Memories.

A White Christmas!
It's snowing and blowing up bushels of FUN in the frosty air right here in Texas!! This afternoon and evening we got about 3 inches of snow. The boys and I quickly made a snowman and headed back in. It is bitter cold and windy! So bizzare, but so beautiful from inside by the fire! We hope daddy can make it to Dallas tomorrow morning to join us, we miss him! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all our family and friends!!

Bling Bling!!
Bryce is working on a new line of bling bling!! He came home today and collected a few things and came to me wearing this!! I had to chuckle and smile, he is so creative! But I must say it is a little garish.....the boys enjoyed taking turns wearing it around the house!
Holiday Party!
On Wednesday Bryce's class had their Christmas party at a nearby children's museum. The boys and I have been here before and it is always so much fun. This year they added a firehouse, complete with a pole, ladder, and bell. To end all the fun it snowed on the kiddos.....they were laying in it trying to make snow angels and throwing it. The little round dots were everywhere, down their shirts, in their hair, and ears!

Lane's First Piano Recital
This past Saturday was Lane's first piano recital. He started playing the piano this summer and loves it! He did a terrific job with his teacher who is playing the duet with him. So proud of him, maybe next time I will play a duet with him...makes me nervous thinking about it. He was so calm and cool, but told us afterwards that he was alittle nervous when he walked up but that all went away! I love how he feels the music as he is playing swaying back and forth! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for coming all the way from Dallas to hear him play!
