Our Family vacation in Hot Springs

We had a wonderful trip to Hot Springs! So much fun now that the kids are a little older and can ride the rides and take it all in. We got VERY wet at Magic Springs(you can clearly see below) with the showers, but still had a great time. Jay and I had to take turns riding the rides with the kids, we were both getting sore from being bumped around. Lane is definently a dare devil and would have riden other rides had he been taller. Bryce on the other hand is alittle more skeptical, but it wasn't long and he was screaming with his hands up having a BALL!!

Magic Springs Amusement Park

Lane chose the bull because he wants to ride one when he is older?! We'll see about that!

Cutie pie even wet!!

The Lookout Tower
We looked at Hot Springs from high up in the tower. The boys wanted to find the rollercoasters in the telescope at Magic Springs. What a beautiful view!! Our dashing boys

The hazy hills

The downtown area of Hot Springs.

More pool time!

I am truly amazed this year at the boys' swimming. They are both jumping under the water and holding hands, or looking at each other. In fact Lane did a flip under water yesterday, something he has been working on for a few days. I am glad that they are so comfortable in the water. They played so hard that they were definently ready for lunchtime. They didn't want to come in to eat so we had a picnic lunch outside.

Working at the Car Wash!

The boys enjoyed washing their jeep, which was truly dirty, while mommy washed her car. They also loved spraying each other, as you can see from their wet heads and clothes!!

Our two little fish!!

Our little pool has been the best entertainment this summer. Lane finished his second summer of swimming lessons and he is just a little fish. He goes under the water and even has begun trying to do a flip. Bryce, of course, tries to do what ever Lane is doing!!

Lane loves to go under the water and come up inside the raft. Notice the nose plug!!:)

Bryce's 3rd B-day/ Monster Trucks and John Deere

After taking this I realized the the "3" is backwards. I stood on the other side when lighting it and it was correct from that side. Oh well, maybe you would have never noticed!:)
There is no real way to wrap a John Deere Gator, so a sheet did just as well.

I'd say he liked it, his arms are blurred because they are moving so fast!!

Big brother Lane and cousin Gavin look on as he takes his first spin.

Lane is giving very important directions, as noted by his face. He has become very bossy these days.
Jay is trying to grow grass in the backyard, but with two battery powered vehicles it isn't doing so well!! Ha!

Our new nephew!!

I am an auntie!! Jeremy and Lisa had a little boy this morning at 7:00. His name is Grant Wayne, he weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 19' long. Both he and Lisa are doing well. We can't wait to take our trip by Amtrak in July to see the new baby boy. Now I can share all of my boy's clothes and toys. I'll post pictures when they send them.

The Long Way Home

On the way back home, we stopped to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa. We had lunch at Great Gma's little cozy house and then went to visit Great Gpa at the nursing home. The boys took turns wearing Great Gpa's cowboy hat.

Red, White and Blue

On Memorial Day, we went to a picnic for all the graduates in Dallas/Fort Worth. The boys found friends to play with on the playground right away. The girls in the picture are Nathan and Allison's girls. The four of them just happened to be dressed like!:) So cute!!! B loved the slides the most.
L spent his time on the monkey bars with the girls and a lot of
Grandpa's help.

Nathan and Allison's little girls and the boys.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent a long Memorial Day weekend at grandma and grandpa's. It rained most of the time, but we did manage to get out a few times between showers. They love G and G's Chihuahuas, so much that they won't leave them alone. The boys playing with the dogs.

Watching Grandpa mow the lawn from the front porch.

The boys love to spend time on the computer. They even managed to get Grandpa to play some games.
