This evening the weather was splendid!! The boys and I picked up limbs and twigs that have fallen recently with all the strong wind we have been having. We had the wheel barrow piled high with sticks. The boys asked if we could have a fire and roast weiners and marshmallows. I ran to the store to get marshmallows and hot dogs while they built the fire and got it warm.

You can do this in January?! I had no idea! :) We had frigid temps yesterday with blowing snow. It was quite interesting driving to meetings. We haven't seen a winter like this in a long time. Your boys had a good idea!

The marshmallows sound good to me, but I would have passed on the hot dogs! Can't wait to see you in a few days!
Looks like a fun time! We've got a fire pit on our patio and the boys love it. Nothin' like smores in Feb!:)
