Today the boys and I made caramel apples, with different toppings.  The boys picked the sprinkles, could you guess.  ;)  They turned out great!....... except the caramel and toppings keep sagging to the bottom.  I am going to have to perfect them before we make them the next time.  Maybe you more savy cooks could give me some tips.  :) Help!!

I'm not sure what the answer is since I've never made them. I was thinking of doing them this fall but never got around to it. I read that the apples should be dry & room temp. It looks like the carmel was just too thin? What? You didn't make the Martha Stewart recipe?? Just kidding! :)
