First fruits of hard labour

We have two gardens this year and we have already been enjoying our lettuce for a week or two now. Tonight Jay went out and dug some of the new potatoes. There are a lot more, but we can only eat them so fast. We have Russet potatoes, too, that are not quite ready. In addition, we have sweet peas, cilantro, parsley, tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, and a field of corn(10 rows). I can't wait to enjoy some new potatoes and peas like my mom and grandmother used to fix! Come on over and we'll fix you a mess! Nothing taste better than something you have grown in your own backyard!

Already? How long do they take to grow? They look yummy!

We planted them on Feb. 14, so about 2 1/2 months. I didn't realize they would even be ready until Jay said he was going to check!

Yummy!! We have a garden, but we had to replant everything about 2 weeks ago after a late freeze here. :)
