I know it can't compare with what you northerners get, but any snow in Louisiana is a monumentous event! You can really see in the field how white the ground is. The flakes where huge and coming down in almost slow motion. The boys played outside for a few minutes after we got home, but it was just too cold and wet. If nothing else, we got a half day off of school!:)

Mom had to call me this morning to tell me that it was snowing there too! How exciting for ya'll. We sure wish that we had MORE snow! It's been really mild winter here this year. Last year, when we were building our house; we shoveled snow "out of our house" 3 times before we got the roof on.
